A of all 32 UK medical schools was carried out to establish the extent to which medical aspects of fitness to drive (FTD) are taught to undergraduate medical students. Overall, a significant number of schools do not provide specific teaching on FTD. In many of the schools where FTD tuition is offered, the subject is not covered in depth.
