Readers will appreciate the simple, sensible eating plan, with no gimmicks or quick-fix promises, and the well-illustrated exercises that concentrate on muscle building. The potential minefield of nutritional supplements is nicely handled, too. Instead of prescribing a particular brand, Basedow discusses the five active ingredients that he has found to be helpful, emphasizing that supplements are overhyped.
